What do you mean by hot and dry temperament please? Is this referring to Chinese Medicine or Homeopathic ways of diagnosing patients? I was born in Brazil in Rio where climate is very different to the Northeast United States where I have lived most of my life. I have been curious how this change in geographical location and opposite climate location has effected my health. After a genetic test, I learned my body does not as easily make and absorb vitamin D from the sun. It got me thinking if it’s bc I would naturally get a lot of sunshine in Brazil and maybe this is a protective gene to prevent too much vitamin D as my body would have enough. Then placing me in an area where I don’t get enough sunlight year round, would change those D reserves in my body, and lead to health issues? I know I always feel better closer to sea level and warmer climates like traveling down south. I currently live in a mountain region with higher elevation and cooler temps and even leaving the house to lower elevations, I notice a difference. Just something I’ve pondered. Any insight is appreciated.

Great piece. Put a few things together for me.

Wonderful summary and you got me thinking. I wonder if DMSO mechanism is related to the folding repair of proteins that its sulfur has. Also as a oncology pharmacist it is commonly observed that folks who undergo certain chemotherapies and lose their straight hair often grow it back curly. Sulfur maybe involved in that phenomenon?

My daughter has suffered hair loss twice after high fevers. She had straight hair before. The first time it grew back so curly, the second time not as much, but she hasn’t got her straight hair back.

I would not be surprised if it were related.

Interesting! I had pin straight hair till I was about 10 years old. Then it suddenly changed to curly. I don’t recall any type of fever, but I wonder if the change could be shildhood vaccine related? Is this possible? Or reported?

Something must have, after so histeria for it being a useless metal, also a present to Jesus by Wisemen.

Maybe gold traces be toxic as considered by dr Clark? e.g. placing a coin in water and drink

I read the article twice. I don’t have any of the functional symptoms of sulfur deficiency so hopefully I’m ok. I upped my sulfur intake several years ago. I eat a clove of fresh garlic at least weekly, as well as broccoli sprouts, eggs, dimethylsulfoxide, and black garlic 3-7x a week.

For glycine I drink homemade bone broth. And I also take 1-2 teaspoons of powdered glycine daily. Sun exposure always seems to be a master lever for health.

Note- If company is coming I skip the garlic for a few days prior. 😁

Thanks for giving us actionable steps to correct and improve upon the deficiency issue. I do supplement D3 along with cofactors but try to get as much sun as I can. There is so much more for me to learn about D3.

I have MSM, and was thinking about taking it again. I stopped due to the nasty taste. Do you think this is something that should be taken daily?
