I often write about the four pillars of health. Body, mind, spirt, emotion or social. All four need to be addressed holistically in order to truly heal. For example, back pain may just be from an injury but it also may be telling you what really “broke” your back was carrying too heavy a load for too long. There’s so much more to our health than just the symptoms.

Definitely.

The pillars I’ve put together a different, but probably have a lot of overlap in their substance.

Including a natural health Resource/info list would b very useful (e.g. EarthClinic.com, Cures.com & definitely info re Chlorine Dioxide, organic tobacco, natural turpentine, hydrogen peroxide, charcoal, MethyleneBlue, Sodium Bicarbonate, DMSO, etc)

I definitely prefer "The Pillars of Foundational Health". This sounds more congruent with your message. If you are interested in including the perspectives of a Certified Nurse Midwife in any of your future plans, I would love to connect!

When I started reading this, as much as I'm fond of you, I didn't really expect you'd cover so many bases and so well. But you did, superbly. I have no doubt you will do incredibly well, not merely because you're smart and communicate well, but you are a healer at heart and soul. Good luck!

Another like-minded physician (what do you call a doctor who has rejected American medicine) is Christian Nix (www.christiannix.com). His “Pivot Protocol” helped me figure my way through chronic digestive issues. Thank you for your writings!

Wonderful to see your project evolving.

My feedback:

I hope you keep writing too. I don't do podcasts or videos -- too much time wasted on filler. I can read something in 10 minutes that takes a half hour with all the social niceties and hemming and hawing. The only vids I do is short ones that teach something specific.

Book sounds good. Pillars of Health... mmm... pretty good, but maybe you want something more provoking. :-)

Consulting sounds intriguing. If affordable, I'll sign up.

Dearest Remnant,

What you have written over the years is very valuable. What you write today resonates with me. I am a nurse-teacher. Several years ago, I left my job in a mainstream family med clinic. So much of what is done now is purely protocol driven. Little time for impactful assessment and teaching. The changes I have witnessed in my 30+ years as a nurse are disheartening. However, change is happening. More people are forging a new path and real health. One such person is my personal doctor, Heather Gessling. She saw what was happening in 2020, stood up and spoke out. She paid dearly with her job. That was the pain of a new, better path. Gessling Family Wellness has 3 clinic sites in rural mid-Missouri where she teaches and cares for people. Y'all should network.

Thanks for who you are,

Nurse Alicia

I also, concur with this culmination of accumulated wisdom towards a book and the refining of direct care...

And so to add comment based on one of my careers as a contractor, adult instructor in various health topics for State of AlaskaRailroad, winning that contract yearly for 16years running:

So many solutions were applied with basic biology. It was stunning to realize how many were utterly ignorant as to how the body works. Simple things as "the skin is the largest organ", or how personal hygiene maintains health (or lack thereof creates problems). Again, the basics.

One very clear example with huge consequences came from a trio of men asking why so many daughters had UTIs. If either male or female fails to receive parental illumination on HOW TO WIPE does this fall to doctors when they arrive at the ER? Teachers? Pastors? This was reported to railroad admin and was taken up by the legal department!

So, education early on for adults point 1. And #2 is that I would like to get in line for a consult before I lose both my legs to lack of capillary circulation specifically and only legs. My grandfather had both legs amputated above the knees when I was 11 and died. My father only joked as why his slender ankles and calves at 6'tall were because "he was a thoroughbred" who died similarly. Mom was an RN and zero help as she worked for 3 oral surgeons yet lost all her teeth by 57. I became a medical survivalist nerd and walk around in rechargable socks in Alaska of all places, outliving 17 relatives by 23 years. Sign me up.

The Pillars of Foundational Health👍🏼 or Foundational Health. And also on the cover “By reviving and marrying the wisdom of our ancestors with our modern scientific endeavors, we resurrect the one healing art.”

The content outline for your book is fabulous. I’m very interested in ancestral methods and practices. Back to basics. Even as little as 50-100 years ago our lifestyle and health were very different. Let’s revisit what worked and learn from that. (I’m just echoing what you are already great at). Most people have a recency bias, so we tend to think the most current information is the most valuable. But that’s not necessarily true.

I listen to podcasts daily, but watch videos infrequently. I have learned a massive amount from health related podcasts. I like to get multiple perspectives on a topic & the repetition helps me learn. Conversational style is good but no more than 2 people including you. One host, one guest. If a third person chimes in , it’s disorienting & harder to follow, especially on audio only. And the extra guest seems frustrated (may be my projection). Do not use music when people are talking. Music at the beginning sounds like a good idea but frankly, if it lasts more than three seconds, I become impatient and feel like it’s wasting time. I vote for no music. Practice the audio multiple times before launching an episode. All speakers must be clear. If I can’t hear it clearly, even if it’s a topic I want to hear about, I will immediately turn it off. And I have no hearing issues. Do not break up the interview with ads. It’s disruptive. Play ads at beginning or end only, if you have to use them. If you use ads, offer a heartfelt sentence about purchasing from these vendors helps you keep the podcast going, and you appreciate our support. Many podcasts have turned into infomercials for guests that are pitching a product. It is lightly veiled, and they suck you in because my golly their product sounds amazing and important. Some products are worth purchasing, others not so much, and it’s hard to tell until you’ve made the purchase. I know you are authentic and will not have someone pitching a product unless you personally have tried it and see value in it or there’s little downside. For example , if you do an episode on curcumin, and the guest sells a curcumin supplement, make sure you are confident in the product, or that you put a disclaimer that the guest is providing information only and for us to use our best judgment in making a purchase. It’s a tricky line, because I’ve purchased very good products from podcast guests and they are products I would not have otherwise known about, but know that we are relying on what products or services you have confidence in because we are a fan of you.

Do not interrupt or talk over the guest. Check yourself multiple times, speak considerably less than the guest. It will still be conversational. If the guest goes over a complex topic, the host should circle back, rephrase, clarify, and break it down for the audience. Everyone will be different, but I like a podcast that is about 50 to 60 minutes for my commute. If the podcast is much shorter than that, it’s not enough time to cover the topic and I’m left with more questions than answers. If the podcast is longer than that, it’s not usually a problem. I just pause it and pick it up at my next opportunity. Three hours is too long, two hours is too long for me. I can’t even get through a two or three hour Tucker or Rogan interview. And I like both of them.

I love that you will be consulting with/accepting patients soon. You are a great teacher and guide. You will be very successful. I’m glad you see the importance of starting slow, and growing slowly.

I’ll think about topics for your podcast and guests to interview and report back later.

You are doing big things. This is a great path. Much needed. We are grateful. ❤️

Thank you for the strategic update, Doc. I am very excited to see these developments. Especially this one:

"Also, I am in the process of booking several people in the health and health-adjacent world, with whom I would like to discuss and develop ideas."

This is where I think your subscribers and followers will realize great value. I would love to see you talking and discussing with other leading experts in various fields where you too have been helping your subscriber base to learn and understand the concepts, detail and nuance. Health strategy, RLT, Circadian, Chronic disease, ancestral healing, Off-label treatments, pharma industrial complex design exposures etc. I agree with your point on podcast value when it is conversational. So there are massive synergies here to leverage.

The other big development is your decision to commence personal consultations. This is HUGE !! The world needs more doctors like yourself to get into active consultation. Your personal and professional experience in dealing with complex pathologies and your background in radiology will immensely benefit patients who are struggling to find trustworthy and reliable practitioners who aren't swayed or influenced by developments in the biomedical industrial complex (to put it mildly).

This is also my opportunity to thank you profusely for gifting me a subscription last year as I cannot afford one financially. It was like a scholarship - I learnt a lot and was also able to share a lot of those insights with others who inturn benefitted from your published works. My prayers and best wishes for your ultimate success in your upcoming venture and many more to come for the benefit of humanity.

There are many " wounded warrior" doctors in Canada who are in need of encouragement due to losing their licenses for going against the government during the covid tyrrany. Perhaps interviewing a few of them who are finding alternate healing strategies would be helpful. Since we have government funded " sick care", these doctors have severe limitations but are being creative. Dr Mark Trozzi for a start.( He has a substack)

I wrote on X a few months ago suggesting exactly this, and both Remnant and Zaid were happy and willing in principle to connect. I think it would be super mega awesome to listen to both in a conversation. However, scheduling and funding as well as other practical considerations will come into play here. Awesome to find a sounding board for my thought.
