INSIGHTS | 27. Impact of Blue & Red light on Vision
The health-hacking community has been warning about blue-light toxicity for years. But, mainstream academia denies it to your detriment.
Article: Myopia Control Effect of Repeated Low-level Red-light Therapy in Chinese Children.
Background
From a physics perspective, electromagnetism refers to the interaction between charged particles and electromagnetic fields (EMF). EMFs are produced by the movement of charged particles.
In our bodies, there are charged particles everywhere. The salt ions in our cellular fluid, the proteins, the carbohydrates, the lipids, the vitamins and minerals. These charged particles are impacted by EMFs. Movement of charged particles generates EMFs, and these EMFs interact with terrestrial, galactic, and artificial EMFs.
When we talk about oxidation and reduction within the body, we are referring to a charge-movement, which serves as a form of communication for all cellular life.
Thus, it would seem reasonable that for decades we have been warned about the negative impact of excess non-natural electromagnetic radiation (nnEMR) in our local environments.
Unfortunately, mainstream health authorities have refused to acknowledge that nnEMR can be harmful to humans and other living beings.
First, we review the common arguments against nnEMR having a negative impact on our health, particularly as it relates to eyesight. Then, we review the mechanism by which nnEMR may impart harm on our body. Finally, we discuss the article (top) and the complementary impact of blue and red light on our eyesight.
