INSIGHTS | 16. The Death of Science™️
Article: Science must respect the dignity and rights of all humans
The last two years have not been kind on people. There are many whom I consider quite intelligent and resourceful that have not done well. They are clearly frightened of covid, climate change, and any other sensationalism pushed onto their field of attention.
However, if you probe them on matters of their own expertise, their thinking is clear as day - or so it may seem.
For example, I know many in academia who are painfully aware of the impact of Diversity & Inclusion™️ on their profession & workplace. Unfortunately, the same people are blind to the degeneration of other fields, like climate science or clinical research.
They would have never believed that a Harvard-affiliated hospital would suggest providing preferential care to patients based on the color of their skin, were it not for their public statement.
Similarly, they cannot fathom that their healthcare industry & government have lied to them about covid, for example.
To get a sense of how deep the rot has gone, we will look at a recent editorial in a Nature journal - one of the most popular scientific periodicals on earth.
