AI very often puts the unqualified in charge of deciding which offspring get to survive, and which are to be discarded.

I get it. I understand all of these points. But there is also a spiritual aspect of hearing God tell you to try IVF when you haven't been able to conceive in 10 years. My husband and I did 3 rounds of IVF and yes, we were successful with ISCI. Beautiful healthy twins who are 12 and thriving. They are the lights of our life.... I can't imagine my life without them, and I wouldn't want to. These technologies have given great joy to many parents like us who couldn't conceive.

My friend is an NP as well as mother to twim autistic 10 year old conceived via IVF, delivered c section and fully complaitn with vax schedule. They both regressed at 18 months and she went full holisitc/natural after shots ruined her kids (her words.) She has also stated that ASD rates sre much higher in kids conceived via IVF. Not sure there is a study on it but she always says she would have never done IVF (c-section or shots, either) if she knew she'd know about the risk.

Excellent article!

Artificial reproduction technology never felt right to me. Another instance of Man playing God--when he has not the moral authority, knowledge, wisdom of Our Creator to do this but only the hubris.

Thank you for the clear, uncommonly commonsensical explanation of fertility and conception, especially why the latter does not happen automatically with every natural attempt to achieve it.

Also, consider the immorality of creating new human beings who’re frozen in perpetuity and/or discarded. That’s a supreme narcissistic selfishness most refuse to even consider.

Absolutely. Thank you for mentioning this crucial point, Bridget. This is the deepest immoral aspect of IVF - yet another form of abortion/discarding "unwanted" and "useless" fetuses at the whim of the utilizers of the procedure.

This was interesting. Happy to report that I have naturally produced six healthy children, even being overweight at the time, but giving birth with as little medical interference as possible. Three of them born at home, which was super. Only regret is that I let the midwife clamp and cut the cord to soon, which stops the pulsation of blood and deprived the child of about 1/3 of blood that is still in the placenta after birth. And I regret vaccinations, which caused the first three fever convulsion several times before the age of two. But at least we have no allergies or other troubles, that is common nowadays.

Great article. IVF never seemed right to me but couldn't put my finger on why. This makes sense. The body / spirit is literally not ready / not equipped to take on the project.
