An Odyssey Into Archery
This piece is for anyone who has been thinking about getting into archery.
Background
Over a year ago I made the conscious decision to orient my career towards a new set of goals:
Continue to learn and disseminate understanding of health & physiology
Avoid drugs & surgery, for patients and for my loved ones
Use feedback from people, not central authority
I view these changes as necessary for a long, fulfilling, and fruitful career in medicine. This was paralleled by changes in orientation within my private life. An orientation towards family, sovereignty, and spirituality - for lack of a better word.
This re-orientation of the mind and heart were incomplete without the body. I believed a physical practice was important to complement this journey.
